MSU Status: Senior
Hometown: Oak Park, Mi
About me:
Hello all you lovely people. I'm Amir, Co-Chair for SOCIAL. I'm a fairly simple guy living in a world that tries way too hard
to be complex. I like Pop Culture, Powerpuff Girls Z, and my theatre class. I hope to be a writer for PEOPLE magazine (or
Entertainment Weekly). so now I'm studying Creative Writing and Asian Studies, and I plan to go to Grad School for Journalism.
I'll always love Sailor Moon and White Cherry Blossom Body Splash. Come to SOCIAL...cause we're pretty much the coolest people
you'll ever meet.

Lauren E. Spencer is an activist both at Michigan State and in the Lansing
community. In addition to SGL-SOCIAL, she also serves as a board member of
the Lansing Association for Human Rights (LAHR), an organization that seeks
to both build and advocate for the LGBT communities in the Lansing area. In
addition, Lauren volunteers for Lesbian Connection, reading the magazine
onto tape for visually impaired subscribers.
Lauren is a junior in James Madison College, majoring in Social Relations
and Policy. She plans on attending law school to become a civil rights
attorney and then a judge.
